Things I make when nobody asked.
Small experiments with no roadmap and no support inbox. They’re here because making things is fun, and sometimes a toy turns into an idea.
No. 01
Radial Sketchbook
Draw one line and get eight. Everything you draw is repeated around the centre — like the segments of a spin wheel — so even a scribble comes out looking deliberate. Change the number of segments afterwards and the whole drawing rearranges itself.
How it works
Each line is stored as a list of points relative to the centre of the circle, so the drawing doesn’t care how big the canvas is. On every frame the canvas redraws each line once per segment, rotating by 360° ÷ segments, and once more flipped if mirroring is on. That’s why changing the symmetry rearranges lines you’ve already drawn.
Lines are smoothed with quadratic curves between midpoints, and the canvas renders at your screen’s pixel density. Your drawing is saved in your browser, so it’s still here next time.
More experiments will show up here when they’re ready. No promises on when.
